Brian and I had lunch at Hikari Japanese Steakhouse in Overland Park on the way home. The food was okay, but not half as good any of the hibachi restaurants in town. This place actually made me appreciate Sumo. LOL.

Brian and I decided to workout with John Wilborn in lieu of going to Suede on Friday night. I guess we could have gone to Suede after, but I wanted to go stop by mom and dad’s so I could drop off a guest pass to Genesis for mom and also so old clothes that we no longer wear so they could take them to the Philippines.
Mom made dinner. She made mongo and pork chops. I love, love, love mongo....
I missed doing Zumba on Monday night due to my appointment with John Wilborn, but at least I got to record them on video. My favorite part is below, except I’m not sure why the video is sideways. LOL.

Mom and I attended Gina Ann’s special Mother’s Day weekend Zumba class at East Central Genesis and had a blast! I got to meet mom’s friend Tita Grace and her daughter Kristen. Didn’t get any pictures with them, though. Oh, well. Maybe next time.

We met mom, dad, David, Donna and Jenni at Little Busters in Derby for lunch today. After that, we all met Kevin, Kasey, Kyndra and Kasey’s cousin Brandy at Derby Bowl.

I finally got to go! It was delicious! Prices are a bit on the high side for lunch, but totally worth it. I can’t wait to go back. I just want to try every single soup, sandwich and salad they offer on the menu.

We were supposed to see Fast Five at the IMAX on Sunday, but the show was completely sold out by the time we got there. Since we were already out West, and we’re rarely ever in the area, we decided to stop by Under the Cork (FREE wine tastings; Need I say more?) and Borders and hang out for a while before heading over to Jay and Becca’s (armed with a few bottles of wine) to drown our sorrows away....
Brian and I had fun on Saturday. We started the day out by working out for a couple of hours. I did my regular step class at Andover YMCA and then Gina Ann’s Zumba class at East Central Genesis. Misty did the class with me. After Zumba, Misty, Brian and I went to the Artichoke. Brian’s ex-girlfriend Danielle joined us.
